Sailing San Blas on Pacifica

The Boat

Pacifica is a PDQ36/39 catamaran (originally 36.5' long, extended to 39'), built in Canada in 1998, very clean, well maintained, spacious and fast.

There are three private double cabins, having opening hatches and port lights, providing great ventilation. Each of the two forward cabins has a queen bed and a closet. The third, aft cabin is a bit smaller, but still adequate for two people.

Large head has a separate shower compartment. There is additional outside shower as well. And there is a water maker, producing enough fresh water to take showers.
Dining is possible in the salon or outside in the cockpit, both with enough space for 6+ people.

Pacifica has state of art navigation and communication systems, all powered by solar energy; well stocked for snorkeling and fishing. I also have a stand-up paddle board and water hammocks. And of course, there is all the required safety equipment.

And the last, but not least: I've got crew: my First Mate is a Jack Russel terrier, called Grisha. He is a great entertainer!
Stand-up paddle board
Forward Cabin
One of the two identical forward cabins. Two large overhead opening hatches and a port light provide great ventilation. Queen bed, two long shelves, electric fan.
Aft Cabin
Port aft double cabin is a bit smaller than two others, but also features good ventilation and electric fan.
Salon Table with leaves open: 6+ people sit easily.
Dining in Cockpit
There is a foldable table for dining in the cockpit.
Forward Cabin
Forward cabin: large closet and more storage space.
Large head with separate stand up shower. Very nice and a better shower than found on most boats many times larger.
Galley: Stove with oven, lots of counter space and storage, deep sink, upright refrigerator.
